The second installment for 
's commission, with my original character, Melisa fighting back against the female jock boxer, April North from the Popeye cartoon 'Never Kick a Woman' from the previous pic. --

Melisa is younger, smaller, and definitely has a lot less muscle compared to the Mae West caricature, but the kid's far from weak, and in general is no push over at all. I intended for her to be in a family of athletes and out going adventurers, so what this guy asked me to draw is not far off from how I intended her to be.
Looking at this, I feel I need to work more on certain moves like hooks, as well as bruises and different angles to proportions of a character. :/
